Repairing classic furniture

I love seeing old pieces of furniture that have been restored. Furniture used to be made to be repaired and to keep on being used for generations, unlike modern flat pack furniture which often is made for a single use. This blog has stories from second hand stores, families who've inherited special furniture and even schools who have gone through the process of restoring old furniture. It's got a lot of useful tips on how to care for old furniture and how to find a restoration firm. It's a beautiful thing to see an old piece of furniture restored to it's original state.

Top Reasons to Choose a Cast Resin Distribution Transformer for Your Business

If you want to be able to provide power for your business, you could be interested in purchasing a distribution transformer. Distribution transformers are made in different ways and are made up of different materials. However, cast resin distribution transformers have become more and more popular, and if you're looking for a distribution transformer for your own business, then one that is made out of cast resin might be the best choice for these reasons.

They're Safe

As you probably know, distribution transformers can be quite dangerous, no matter what type of transformer you purchase. Cast resin distribution transformers are typically self-extinguishable, so you should not have to worry about any external fires. They typically use non-toxic substances, and they can be exposed to moisture without too much concern for safety. Naturally, you'll need to follow recommended use guidelines and make sure that your employees are trained about the safe use of the transformer, but if you're concerned about safe transformer use, you'll probably want to choose a cast resin distribution transformer instead of transformers that are made from other materials.

They're Affordable

Distribution transformers can be pretty expensive, but some transformers are cheaper than others. Cast resin transformers are often on the more affordable side, although the size of your transformer and the brand that you choose will impact pricing. Operating costs for these transformers are often on the lower side, too, since they are designed to be efficient and since you don't have to worry about purchasing oil for them, either.

They're Quiet

Some distribution transformers are much louder than others. If you are setting up a transformer on your property, you're probably hoping that it will not be too loud. Although there is some noise that goes along with using a cast resin distribution transformer, these are quieter than some other types of transformers. This is something that your employees are sure to appreciate, and you can avoid causing a disruption to surrounding homes or businesses by choosing a quieter transformer, too.

They Don't Take Up Too Much Space

You might not have a lot of space for setting up your distribution transformer, and you might be concerned about this lack of space, particularly if you need a bigger and more powerful unit. Although cast resin distribution transformers vary in size based on how much power they produce, overall, they are typically on the smaller side. This means that you should be able to find a cast resin distribution transformer that will not take up too much space but that will be powerful enough for your company.
